Fort Worth-area boys, girls basketball teams reschedule games due to inclement weather

Due to anticipated severe cold weather, several Fort Worth-area basketball teams had to reschedule or postpone their playoff matchups. All games listed are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18, with the exception of the Brock vs. Pampa girls basketball regional semifinal.

Girls Basketball regional semifinals

No. 2 Boswell moved its Class 6A Division II regional semifinal against No. 6 Braswell to 5 p.m. at Ponder High School.

Brock postponed its 4A Division II matchup vs. Pampa and will release game-time information when it becomes available. Aledo moved its 5A Division I matchup vs. Amarillo Tascosa to Haskell High School; the Bearcat’s tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Boys Basketball Bi-District round

Crowley and Byron Nelson moved their bi-district playoff game to 6 p.m. at Saginaw High School. Arlington Martin also moved its game time, and will tip off vs. Dallas Lake Highlands at 6 p.m. at Grapevine High School.

Chisholm Trail moved its game vs. Argyle at Keller Timber Creek High School up to 6 p.m., and Arlington Bowie did the same; the Volunteers will face Jesuit at South Oak Cliff High School with a 6 p.m. tipoff.

Arlington Seguin moved up its game time and will face Fort Worth Southwest at Mansfield Legacy High School with a 6:30 p.m. tipoff.

Brewer and Colleyville will now tip off at 6 p.m. at Byron Nelson High School. Aledo and Denton will now start at 6 p.m. at Keller Central High School.

THe double header at Arlington ISD Atheltic Center got pushed forward. Mansfield Timberview vs. Fort Worth Paschal will commence at 5 p.m. and Fort Worth Polytechnic vs. Mansfield Summit is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Fort Worth Arlington Heights and Burleson Centennial will now face off at 6:30 p.m. at Mansfield High School.

Alvarado will now face Dallas Kimball at 6 p.m. at Waxahachie High School.
