The Texas high school girls basketball playoffs are here.

Many Fort Worth-area teams competed in the bi-district round to start their playoff runs. Here are results and more from around the area. Some games will be played on Tuesday; click here for the bi-district pairings and schedule.

Boswell throttles Southlake Carroll in statement victory

Boswell (34-2) is the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches No. 2 ranked Class 6A team for a reason. The Pioneers, in the Class 6A Division II bracket, started their playoff run with a dominant 57-26 victory over Southlake Carroll (22-10), a top team from District 4-6A.

Senior Camille Williams, ESPN’s No. 36 prospect on the 2025 national rankings, led the way with 17 points. Seleste Massey and Salena Carrasco were both solid contributors with 14 points each.

Boswell advances to the area round, where they’ll face El Paso Eastwood or San Angelo Central. The Pioneers are one of a few state championship favorites.

Considering the Dragons lost their entire starting lineup, they had an extremely successful season.

Mansfield Legacy ends Byron Nelson’s season

Byron Nelson (25-9) entered the bi-district round with an undefeated district record.

Despite the strong season, the Bobcats met their match in Mansfield Legacy (24-13), falling 59-46 at Richland High School. The Legacy Broncos advance to the Class 6A Division II area round, where they’ll face Wolfforth Frenship.

Argyle storms past Granbury, sets up clash with Summit

Argyle (30-5), the No. 8 ranked 5A squad, started its playoff run with a dominant 45-19 victory over Granbury. Wrigley Green led the Eagles in scoring with 10 points and also contributed three steals.

Blair Mosley and Kensley Vest contributed seven points each, and Brooklynn Northeim was another key contributor with eight points.

The Eagles will face Mansfield Summit (30-5), the TABC’s No. 7 ranked squad, in the Class 5A Division II area round. Both are part of an elite group in the 5A D2 bracket, and they’ll have tough second-round matchups.

North Crowley storms past Eaton

North Crowley (24-8) defeated Eaton (21-12) 61-38 in the bi-district round.

The Eaton Eagles made their first playoff appearance in program history but couldn’t keep up with the Panthers. Jamari Milton led North Crowley with 17 points and Mecca Crawford was a key contributor with 14 points.

North Crowley will face Pebble Hills or Midland in the Class 6A Division I area round.
