Fort Worth Paschal football standout TE Luke Tevis signs with Tulsa Golden Hurricanes
Paschal High School football broke a 28-year playoff drought in a historic year for the program.
One of the players leading the charge was senior tight end Luke Tevis, a 247Sports three-star prospect and a unanimous all-district selection. On Wednesday, Feb. 5, Tevis committed and signed with Tulsa.
“Luke demonstrated exceptional athleticism during his time with us and was a valued member of our varsity team for three years,” Paschal coach John Killough said. “ ... He served as a leader of our football team, and we are thrilled that he will continue both his education and athletic career at Tulsa.”
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound senior had offers from Air Force, Arkansas State, Army, Dartmouth, Navy, North Texas, Texas State, and more. Tevis was committed to Rice but decided to reopen his recruitment.
In his senior year with Paschal, Tevis averaged 41.9 yards per game and notched four total touchdowns. Before the season, Killough called Tevis the “kid everyone wishes they could coach” and credited him for elite speed, hands and spatial awareness while maintaining size and strength.
Tevis joins Arlington Bowie standout Ian Mayes in Tulsa’s 2025 signed recruiting class. Tulsa has a strong presence in North Texas recruiting and has signed Frisco Wakeland’s Tristan Lawyer, Allen’s Donnell Gee Jr., Sachse’s Sean DeVault, Lovejoy’s RJ McIntosh, Coppell’s Titus Roberson, and Denton Guyer’s Jackson Shockley.
Tulsa has 247Sports’ No. 101 overall class of 2025 ranking in the nation. Tevis, arguably the highest-rated senior recruit within Fort Worth ISD, is Tulsa’s highest-rated tight end in the 2025 class.
