North Crowley football is set to celebrate a historic state championship-winning season.

A “Parade of Champions” is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 18, with a 1 p.m. scheduled start time at Crowley ISD Stadium. A community pep rally will follow at approximately 1:45 p.m.

Crowley ISD Stadium’s address is 9900 Hemphill St, Fort Worth, TX 76134. The parade will include “student-athletes, coaches, marching band, cheerleaders and community leaders.”

North Crowley won the Class 6A Division I state championship, defeating Austin Westlake 50-21. The Panthers claimed a championship for Fort Worth, which is something that hadn’t been done since North Crowley’s last title in 2003.

Head coach Ray Gates was named the Star-Telegram Coach of the Year and was also named the Max Preps National Coach of the Year. Senior wide receiver Quentin Gibson, a Colorado signee, was named the Star-Telegram Player of the Year and also the Max Preps Player of the Year.

North Crowley led all area teams with 16 players selected to the Star-Telegram All-Area Super Team.
