Can you believe week four of Texas high school football is behind us?

There were a handful of spectacular performances in the Fort Worth-area. Which player had the best one? 13 schools are represented in the poll: Southlake Carroll, Haltom, Argyle, Aledo, Crowley, Mansfield Summit, Trophy Club Nelson, Mansfield Timberview, North Crowley, Keller, Mansfield, Burleson Centennial and Justin Northwest.

You decide. Whoever receives the most votes will be named the Fort Worth-area player of the week.

Anyone can be nominated. If a performance from the upcoming week stands out, you can nominate a player by sending High School Sports Editor Charles Baggarly (cbaggarly@star-telegram.com) an email with the subject line “WEEK FIVE NOMINATION.”

Here are the nominees for the Fort Worth-area week three player of the week. Voting will close Wednesday at 5 p.m. CT.
