Several student-athletes had strong performances to start the season. Which Fort Worth-area player had the best performance in week one?

Anyone can be nominated. If a performance from week two stands out, you can nominate a player by sending High School Sports Editor Charles Baggarly (cbaggarly@star-telegram.com) an email with the subject line “WEEK TWO NOMINATION.”
