Remember when Shaquille O’Neal broke down a rim during his rookie season with the Orlando Magic?

The basketball hall of famer and now NBA analyst on TNT did it on a put-back dunk against the Phoenix Suns. O’Neal has shattered backboards before. He didn’t on that night, but the rim did go down.

Watch here:

Well, Pantego junior post Trey Craig had something similar happen to him on Tuesday night.

Craig, who is listed at 6-4 and 220, got a steal and fast-break dunk. The dunk caused the rim to go down in similar fashion to the one Shaq did during the 1992-1993 NBA season.

It caused a bit of a delay, but Pantego went on to beat Red River Home School at home 61-36.

Craig, who is committed to play baseball at Texas A&M, has been one of the premier double-double machines in the area for the past few years. This season, Craig is averaging 17.3 points and 14.5 rebounds.

No doubt, he’ll remember that dunk forever.
