The Texas high school boys soccer season is in full force and the race to April and Georgetown is underway. Expect another exciting season among the Fort Worth-area.

Take a look at the area’s Top 25 boys soccer players:

1. Jax Turley, Sr., MID/FORW, Mansfield Lake Ridge

  • Midwestern State bound
  • 13 goals, 5 assists last season
  • 26 goals as a sophomore

2. Tanner Anstis, Jr., FORW, Grapevine

  • 21 goals, 6 assists last season
  • Helped the Mustangs to 27 wins, regional final
  • District newcomer of the year
  • All-Area newcomer of the year

3. Ricardo Gonzalez, Sr., FORW, FW Diamond Hill-Jarvis

  • 12 goals, 9 assists
  • District Offensive MVP

4. Parker Owens, Sr., D, Southlake Carroll

  • Helped the Dragons to seven shutouts
  • District 4-6A Defensive newcomer of the year

  • Helped the Indians to the regional final
