The Texas high school girls basketball season gets started this week as teams gear up for the next four to five months.
Argyle and Midlothian Heritage move up to Class 5A while the Eagles had the best run of any area team to the 4A state final.
Southlake Carroll and LD Bell had the best for any 6A area team as the Dragons and Blue Raiders played in the regional semifinals.
