Looking for a good high school football game to watch in Week 10, but don’t want to travel far.

We have the top games in the Fort Worth area right here:

Byron Nelson (8-0, 5-0) vs. Southlake Carroll (8-0, 5-0)

7 p.m. Friday, Dragon Stadium, Southlake

It’s the District 4-6A championship on Friday night.

In what could be the biggest game in Byron Nelson football history, the Bobcats enter with an 8-0 record for the first time. The Bobcats and the Dragons are just one of two games in the state featuring undefeated teams. The other is Mart and Dawson, who are both 8-0.

Byron comes in with the most points per game in Class 6A at 55, but Carroll isn’t far off with 49 a game. The Bobcats have outscored teams 441-98, including 290-65 in District 4-6A play.

Carroll, No. 4 in the state rankings and No. 1 in the Class 6A area rankings, is outscoring teams 393-72, including 242-45 in district play. Byron is No. 19 and No. 4 in the rankings, respectively.

Byron QB Jake Wilson has thrown for nearly 2,700 yards and 29 touchdowns.

Carroll RB Owen Allen has rushed for nearly 1,200 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Can either defense keep pace with the opposing offense? Give me the Dragons 42-38.

Burleson Centennial (7-1, 5-1) at Justin Northwest (6-2, 5-1)

7 p.m. Friday, Northwest ISD Stadium

It’s a race for the second seed in District 3-5A D1 between the Centennial Spartans and Northwest Texans. After their first loss to Aledo, the Spartans rebounded for a 51-6 win over Brewer.

Centennial is averaging over 40 points per game. In five district wins, its only allowed 32 points.

Northwest comes in with five straight wins, outscoring teams 265-43 in the span. The Texans are allowing under 20 points per game this season. Texas Tech commit Jake Strong was near perfect in last week’s 65-0 win over FW South Hills, throwing for 265 yards and five touchdowns on 11 of 12 passing.

Give me the Spartans 35-31.

Centennial quarterback Phillip Hamilton and the Spartans will look for a key road win against Northwest on Friday. Special/Bob Haynes

Boswell (6-2, 3-2) vs. Crowley (4-4, 4-1)

7:30 p.m. Friday, Crowley ISD Stadium

After dropping four of their first five games, the Crowley Eagles have won three in row following a thrilling 26-24 win over Euless Trinity in Week 9. Kicker Angel Loera hit a 36-yard field goal as time expired.

With another win, Crowley will play for a district title in 3-6A next week.

QB Caleb Williams had a great night with 314 yards total offense and two touchdowns against Trinity. The Eagles have jumped into the Class 6A area rankings.

Boswell dropped its second game in three weeks, 31-28 against Weatherford.

Crowley is one of the pleasant surprises of the season, give me the Eagles 28-24.

FW All Saints (3-4, 1-1) at Argyle Liberty Christian (8-1, 3-0)

7 p.m. Friday

Liberty Christian continues to be No. 1 in the Star-Telegram private school rankings after improving to 8-1 following an 18-6 win over FW Southwest Christian.

The Warriors, led by former Cowboy Jason Witten, are outscoring teams 297-133. They can wrap up a district title and No. 1 playoff seed with a win.

QB Jacob Vaughan continues to be among the best in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

All Saints is coming off its bye week, but in Week 8 did beat Southwest Christian 37-21 to snap a three-game losing streak. The defense has been the strength with 45 tackles for loss, 22 sacks and nine takeaways.

But the Warriors win again, 31-20.

Arlington Heights (8-0, 5-0) at Grapevine (7-1, 5-0)

7 p.m. Friday, Mustang-Panther Stadium

The District 4-5A D2 championship will come down to Heights and Grapevine this week.

Just like Byron Nelson, this also can be considered the biggest game for Arlington Heights in a decade. The Yellowjackets are one of eight area teams still undefeated and are 8-0 for the first time since 2014.

Heights is coming off a 34-12 win over Southwest. Before that, it beat Colleyville Heritage 41-31.

The Jackets continue to lean on RB Brian Furch, who has 1,184 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Grapevine also loves to run the ball with nearly 2,400 yards and 36 touchdowns this season, led by RB Parker Polk, who has six 100-yard rushing games in seven contests.

The Mustangs are scoring just a little more than Heights, averaging 46 points per game.

Heights proved it could beat one GCISD team, but can the Jackets do it again? Give me Grapevine 42-28.
