Dallas-Fort Worth area high school volleyball player of the week from Azle

Azle’s Makenna Dillow was voted the latest DFW area high school volleyball player of the week.

Dillow got 32% of the votes. Richardson’s Sofia Alexander came in second with 18%.

Dillow had 38 digs and 7 assists to help Azle beat Brewer 3-2 and clinch a playoff berth. She also went over the 1,000 dig mark in her high school career.

Aledo’s Sam Smith came in third place. Midlothian’s Karli Rector came in fourth place. A total of 10 players were nominated on Monday.
