Dallas-Fort Worth area high school football defensive player of the week from Lewisville

Lewisville’s Cole Irick was voted DFW football defensive player of the week from Week 8.

Irick got 41% of the votes. Everman’s Bradley Langston came in second with 33%.

Irick helped the Farmers stay undefeated by making 10 tackles and four sacks vs. Plano

Lone Star’s Bennett Fryman came in third place. Weatherford’s Koby Kidd came in fourth. A total of 8 players were nominated on Tuesday.
