Dallas-Fort Worth area high school football offensive player of the week from Peaster

Peaster’s Rhett Steen was voted DFW high school football offensive player of the week in Week 8.

Steen got over 6,000 votes. Byron Nelson’s Jake Wilson came in second place. Wyatt’s Kaid Barrett came in third.

Steen had 10 catches, 222 yards and 2 TDs vs Boyd. He also returned a kickoff for a 70 yard TD and scored on a 2-point try.

A total of 10 players were nominated on Tuesday.
