Dallas-Fort Worth area high school boys basketball player of the week from Richardson

Richardson’s Rylan Griffen was voted the latest DFW high school boys basketball player of the week.

Griffen got 72% of the votes. Griffen, a 5-star guard, scored 21 points in the Eagles’ regional semifinal win over Byron Nelson then helped Richardson beat Dallas Jesuit to clinch a state semifinal berth.

Grace Prep’s Justin McNelkan came in second place with 18%.

Kimball’s Kyron Henderson came in third.
