DFW high school boys and girls basketball winners for Week 15 from SGP, Richardson, Azle
South Grand Prairie’s Jordan Roberts, the Richardson Eagles, Azle’s Regan Sawyer and the Azle Lady Hornets were voted the latest DFW high school boys and girls basketball players and teams of the week.
Roberts was voted boys player of the week after dropping 42 points against Cedar Hill.
Richardson, boys team of the week, took down No. 1 and 6A defending state champ Duncanville in overtime.
Sawyer was voted girls player of the week after leading Azle to its first playoff berth since 2015. She scored a team-high 15 points against Chisholm Trail.
Azle, girls team of the week, beat Chisholm Trail twice and Brewer during the week to clinch the fourth spot in 7-5A.
