The winner for the latest Dallas-Fort Worth baseball player of the week goes to Colleyville Heritage hitter Logan Britt!
Britt, an A&M signee and 2-time All-American, hit 3 home runs in 3 games. He went 8 for 10 with 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored as the Panthers went undefeated and won the district title in 7-5A with a sweep over Grapevine.
Heritage also earned a win on Saturday vs. Flower Mound.
Britt beat out Rockwall-Heath’s Miller Ladusau, who went 7 for 10 with 2 doubles, 7 RBIs, 6 runs scored and 5 stolen bases in 3 games as the Hawks clinched District 11-6A.
Keller’s Mikey Brinton was also nominated after he went 6 for 9 with a homer, 2 doubles, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored in 3 games as the Indians finished with the No. 2 seed out of District 5-6A.
