Arlington Lamar’s Jasub Flores and FW Paschal’s Gracie Jordan are the latest winners for Dallas-Fort Worth high school soccer players of the week for games March 18-23, 2019.

Flores scored 2 goals vs. YMLA, his first coming on a penalty kick in the first half to break the Lamar single season and career scoring records set by older brother Carlos in 2017. Flores broke the records with his 34th goal of the season and 61st during his 3-year career.

Lamar is playoff bound and will face Euless Trinity on Friday at 8 p.m. from Pennington Field.

The Paschal girls are playoff bound for the first time since 2015 after clinching a berth during a 5-2 win over Lamar. Jordan scored all 5 goals. The Panthers open the postseason against San Angelo Central on Friday at 2 p.m. from Abilene’s Shotwell Stadium.
