Former Dallas Cowboys corner Deion Sanders was an All-American at Florida State before having a successful hall-of-fame career in the NFL.
His son Shilo Sanders holds 11 scholarship offers, but his latest is just a little more sweeter.
The 3-star 2019 corner for Trinity Christian Cedar Hill was offered by Florida State on Tuesday night.
Sanders also holds offers from Georgia, Nebraska, Oregon, South Carolina and more. He’s ranked as the No. 113 corner in the nation and No. 141 overall prospect in the state. He’s projected to commit with FSU, according to 247Sports.
Sanders, who has helped the Trojans to a 5-0 record, also plays some offense and returns kicks. He’s averaging 40.8 yards per kickoff return.
Deion, the offensive coordinator at TC-Cedar Hill, was a two-time All-American for the Seminoles, won the Jim Thorpe Award in 1988 and has his No. 2 jersey retired.
He has a younger son, sophomore quarterback Shedeur, who’s accounted for 900 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Trojans.
