Flower Mound Marcus senior Marcel Brooks is one of the top high school football players in the nation. The LSU commit is ranked as the No. 4 outside linebacker in the country and No. 16 overall prospect in Texas.
Brooks is also the No. 81 best overall player in the Class of 2019.
Committed to the Tigers as a linebacker, Brooks has been returning kicks and playing wide receiver this season for the Marauders, who are 4-1 and 2-0 in District 6-6A.
Brooks returned a kick against Irving in Week 5. The only man to beat was his own in running back Justin Dinka. The two high-fived just before crossing the goal-line together. Marcus won 58-13. Watch it here:

In Week 6 against Irving Nimitz, which Marcus won 27-23, Brooks catches a quick pass, makes one man miss and jumps over another. He caps off the 15-yard gain by leaping over another defender out of bounds.
