Trinity Valley and Keller Central standouts win basketball players of the week
More than 40,000 votes were cast for the latest dfwVarsity girls and boys basketball players of the week.
Trinity Valley senior Madison Williams won the girls vote (6,209). The McDonald’s All-American was honored with a game jersey then eight hours later, scored 34 points vs. HSAA.

Williams beat out Richland junior Annika Gorman (5,300) who recored 17 points, 6 rebounds in a victory over Grapevine.
Brewer senior C.J. Lester came in third after averaging 21.5 points on 75 percent shooting vs. Aledo and Azle.
Keller Central sophomore Kylil Anderson won the boys vote (11,724) after averaging 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 steals vs. Haltom and Keller.
Anderson beat out Southwest Christian junior Zack Swift who had 25 points, 10 rebounds vs. Grapevine Faith.
Waxahachie senior Montre Gipson came in third with 25 points for the top 5A Indians vs. Midlothian.
