Here are the DFW hoops recruits in the 2019 Top247 rankings, including two five-stars

Local products, and those from across the Lone Star State, saturated the latest Top247 2019 basketball recruiting rankings.

The top player in the area is five-star Denton Guyer small forward Jalen Wilson, who is No. 15 overall. The 6-foot-6, 185-pound shooter has offers from all the blue bloods and recently took an unofficial visit to Kansas.

He’s not the top-rated Texan though. That honor, for now, goes to five-star center Charles Bassey (San Antonio/St. Anthony Catholic), who checks in at No. 3 overall.

Another DFW product high on this list is PG Tyrese Maxey (Garland/South Garland) at No. 17. This five-star has an 85 percent chance of ending up at SMU, per 247.

The final five-star from the state is Will Baker (Austin/Westlake), who is ranked No. 25.

Denton Guyer PG De’Vion Harmon is No. 45. He’s headed to Oklahoma.

North Crowley combo guard Grant Sherfield is No. 59. The four-star has been committed to UCLA since Oct. 30, 2017.

Lightning-quick PG Avery Anderson (Justin Northwest) checks in at No. 131. The three-star recruit has a bevy of offers including from LSU, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, and A&M.

Another local product that made the cut is Weatherford center Nigel Johns. The 6-foot-9, 250-pound post is rated No. 206 and a three-star prospect.
