TCU track gets two gold medals at Big 12 Outdoor Championships

TCU took two first places at the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday on the TCU campus.

Ronnie Baker won the men’s 100 meters with a time of 10.15 seconds, and Brianna McGhee won the women’s 100 hurdles in 13.14.

The Frogs men took two second places. The 4x100 relay team of Raymond Bozmans, Sam Watts, Malik Summers and Darrion Flowers was second with a 39.41.

Watts was second in the 200 meters with a 20.69.

Aldrich Bailey Jr. of Texas won the 200 in 20.57. Bailey, a product of Mansfield Timberview, was second in the 400 with a 45.5.

Texas’ men and women swept the team titles.

UTA track and field

The UT Arlington women won the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:42.29 at the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Lafayette, La.

Taylor Davis, Dasia Rolfe, Brianna McClure and Tamerah Gorham were on the relay.

Gorham won the women’s 800 with a time of 2:10.34. Katelyn Hayward took the 1, 500 meters in 4:29.25.

In the men’s division, Roland Sales won his fourth consecutive high jump title by clearing 6-11 1/2 .

Emeka Nwangwu won the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best of 13.99.
