TCU’s game at Abilene Christian scheduled for Tuesday night was canceled because of weather. Abilene was hit with heavy rain on Sunday and more is expected Tuesday night.

It is the first cancelation for TCU this season. The game won’t be made up.

The schedule change leaves TCU to start a three-game series at Oklahoma State on Friday with at least five days’ rest for each pitcher. The Horned Frogs last played Saturday, when they defeated Oklahoma in a doubleheader.

TCU is scheduled to start right-hander Luken Baker, left-hander Dalton Horton and right-hander Brian Howard against the Cowboys.

The Horned Frogs (27-8, 9-3) are in second place in the Big 12, two games behind Texas Tech.
