Trio combine for 60 points to lift TCU women past Kansas

TCU guard Zahna Medley scored 21 points to lead the Horned Frogs to a third straight Big 12 victory for the first time in program history Wednesday with an 80-63 victory over Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse.

Veja Hamilton followed with 20 points and Chelsea Prince added 19 for the Frogs (11-4, 3-1 Big 12). TCU shot 48 percent and converted 22 turnovers into 27 points.

Chelsea Gardner scored 21 points on 10-of-13 shooting for the Jayhawks (9-8, 0-4). Natalie Knight added 17 points and seven rebounds.

The Frogs took control late in the first half with a 7-0 burst and finished the half on a 19-6 run for a 38-26 lead at the break.
