Video of Trevone Boykin’s bar altercation surfaces
TMZ on Saturday released video footage of the bar scuffle that led to TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin’s suspension for the Alamo Bowl, ending his college career.
Boykin was charged with assault on a public servant — a third-degree felony — public intoxication and resisting arrest after an altercation at 1:52 a.m. Thursday at Pat O’Brien’s, a sports bar a half-block from TCU’s team hotel in San Antonio. Police Chief William McManus said Boykin struck a bicycle officer in the face, perhaps inadvertently.
The 11th-ranked Horned Frogs face 15th-ranked Oregon on Saturday night at the Alamodome.
