The Horned Frogs continue to win basketball games, and with the same formula.

For the 10th time in 11 games, the TCU men’s basketball team outrebounded its opponent Saturday night for an 88-57 victory against UT San Antonio. And for the fifth time, they registered double-digit blocks.

In addition, they held the Roadrunners to a season-low 32.6 percent shooting for the game.

The formula has resulted in an 11-0 record for the Horned Frogs as they go into Monday night’s game against Grambling State.

Sophomore forward Brandon Parrish had 18 points, five blocks and four rebounds against UTSA. Kenrich Williams had two blocks, plus seven rebounds. Every player except one had a rebound against UTSA.

In the Big 12, TCU needs only two more wins to tie Oklahoma State for the 10th best start in league history.

TCU ranks fourth in the Big 12 in rebounds, averaging 39.5 per game, and third in rebounding margin, plus-10.2 a game.

In blocks, the Frogs are second in the conference with 6.5 a game, trailing Texas’ 7.6.

The Frogs have two nonconference games left to polish their defense. They meet Tennessee State next week, then open the Big 12 schedule on Jan. 3 at home against West Virginia.
