The TCU women’s basketball team (4-3) enters Thursday’s contest against Lamar after shooting just 33 percent in a 82-71 loss to Texas A&M on Sunday.

While TCU remained in the game because of its defensive pressure, the Horned Frogs hope to get a spark from their top three scorers, junior guard Zahna Medley, senior guard Donielle Breaux and senior guard Natalie Ventress, all of which average in double-digit point totals.

TCU is the second Big 12 team Lamar (2-5) will face this season after dropping a road contest to Oklahoma 100-73 on Nov 18.

Lamar is paced by freshman guard Baileigh O’Dell, who averages 12.7 points per game, followed by forward Dominique Edwards, a Grand Prairie grad, with 11.4 points per game.
