TCU recap: Boykin, Horned Frogs roll past Iowa State, 45-21
Why TCU won: Trailing 21-14 after the first quarter, the Horned Frogs scored 31 unanswered points as the Horned Frogs won a school-record 15th consecutive game.
Key players: Boykin completed 27 of 32 passes for 436 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 74 yards and another score. Josh Doctson caught 10 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns.
Doctson bettered his own school record (1,018) for receiving yards in a season with 1,067. He came in needing 142 yards to break it.
Kolby Listenbee had six receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown.
Key stats: TCU extended its scoring streak to 287 games, second-best active mark in the country and fourth all time. TCU also extended its streak of first-quarter touchdowns to 20, the longest active streak in the country.
