Before the first quarter was over, TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin and receiver Josh Doctson had broken a pair of school records – with each other’s help.

Boykin matched Andy Dalton’s career record for touchdown passes at TCU with a 15-yard scoring throw to Doctson, who matched Josh Boyce’s career record for touchdown receptions at TCU on the play.

They both broke the records minutes later.

Boykin threw a 49-yard score to freshman KaVontae Turner to give him his 72nd touchdown pass at TCU, and Doctson caught a throw from Shaun Nixon off a double pass for his 23rd touchdown catch at TCU.

By halftime, Boykin had thrown for 246 yards, and Doctson had 99 yards receiving as TCU led 37-0.
