TCU basketball to host Texas A&M for first time in nearly 30 years

TCU men’s basketball will host Texas A&M for the first time in nearly 30 years.

The Horned Frogs will welcome the Aggies for a regular-season game Nov. 19 at Schollmaier Arena, the first of a home-and-home series that will send TCU to College Station in 2027.

Texas A&M has not come to Schollmaier Arena since Jan. 31, 1996, in the last season of the Southwest Conference.

TCU and Texas A&M have played in recent years at neutral sites. The Horned Frogs won 73-55 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth in 2020, then again 68-64 at Toyota Center in Houston in 2021.

The Horned Frogs have won four straight in the series and five of six, but the Aggies still hold an 88-77 all-time edge.

Both teams reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season. TCU went 23-12, while Texas A&M finished 22-12.
