TCU football picks up commitment from Arlington Lamar receiver

TCU football picked up a local commitment for its 2026 recruiting on Sunday afternoon.

Arlington Lamar wide receiver Khamill Pruitt committed to the Horned Frogs on his Twitter/X account. The 6-foot-1 standout is ranked the No. 76 receiver in the country and the No. 61 prospect in Texas according to 247Sports.

Pruitt is having a career season with the Vikings as he leads the team with 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns. Pruitt had 25 receptions for 381 yards and 5 TDs on 15.2 yards per catch his junior season.

He committed to TCU over offers from Baylor, Kansas State and Northwestern. Pruitt is the 19th commit for TCU in its current class and he joins fellow receivers James Scott and Ayson Theus from Duncanville.

TCU’s currently ranks No 34 in the country and fifth in the Big 12.

Pruitt and the Vikings will face Dallas Jesuit in the first round of UIL Class 6A Division II state playoffs.
