TCU will begin its college football season in the biggest spotlight possible.

The Horned Frogs will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels and Bill Belichick, who will coach his first college game after winning six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots.

In addition, the game will have football fans’ full attention as a standalone national TV game Monday.

The Horned Frogs enter the season looking to improve on last year’s 9-4 record and compete for a Big 12 title. TCU will be looking for its first win in program history against the Tar Heels (0-3).

North Carolina finished 6-7 last season, and coach Mack Brown was fired.
