TCU women’s basketball adds marquee matchup with Ohio State to 2025 schedule
TCU women’s basketball has added a major non-conference game to its 2025-26 schedule.
The Horned Frogs will face Ohio State in the Coretta Scott King Classic at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., at noon on Jan. 19. The game will be televised on FOX.
TCU’s matchup against the Buckeyes in the first game in a doubleheader at the classic with Vanderbilt and Michigan slated to play in the second game.
Ohio State should be a formidable opponent for the Horned Frogs as the Buckeyes went 26-7 last season and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Horned Frogs are coming off the best season in program history after finishing 2024 34-4 and reaching the Elite Eight and winning a Big 12 regular season and conference tournament championship.
Despite losing Hailey Van Lith, Sedona Prince and Madison Conner, TCU reloaded with one of the best transfer classes in the portal led by Notre Dame transfer Olivia Miles, a projected top five pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
