TCU guard Madison Conner selected by the Seattle Storm in the WNBA Draft
Former TCU guard Madison Conner was selected by the Seattle Storm with pick No. 29 in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
Conner was the second Horned Frog to be selected in the draft following Hailey Van Lith, who was picked No. 11 by the Chicago Sky.
Conner was one of the most prolific 3-point shooters in college basketball the last two seasons after transferring to TCU. Conner led the NCAA in 3-pointers made and averaged 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists this season while shooting 45% from 3 as she helped the Horned Frogs reach the Elite Eight.
In 2023, Conner averaged a career-high 19.2 and 4.7 rebounds while making 39% of her 3-point attempts. Conner was one of the biggest transfer portal signees by Mark Campbell.
Despite limited production in three seasons at Arizona, Campbell believed Conner could flourish in a bigger role and she did that in Fort Worth. Conner owns multiple school records including the single season record for most 3-pointers in a season and she also finished second all-time for 3-pointers in a season by a Big 12 player.
