It should come as no surprise that the Gamecocks have the top odds. The program is a No. 1 seed in the tournament, last year’s defending champion and has won two of the last three NCAA Tournaments.
TCU’s ranking at 10 could be a bit of a surprise as they rank below two lower seeds, Notre Dame and LSU, and was the lowest-ranked of the two seeds behind NC State, Duke and UConn.
Notre Dame and NC State particularly stand out as TCU beat both teams earlier in the season.
If the Horned Frogs were to win the championship, it would be their first in school history.
TCU could make history even earlier if they win their first two March Madness games as the Horned Frogs have never advanced past the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
