Brother of TCU receiver Jack Bech saved a woman before dying in New Orleans attack

Tiger Bech, brother of TCU wide receiver Jack Bech, died in the New Orleans terror attack that killed 14 people on New Year’s Day.

Before Tiger died, he provided a heoric moment.

Text messages shared by Bech on X, formerly Twitter, revealed how his brother saved lives during the terror attack by pushing a woman he was talking with to safety.

The younger Bech praised his brother for his heroism, calling him an angel.

“My brother is a true hero. Can’t express the love I have for him. He’s an angel,” said Bech.

The elder Bech, 28, died after being taken to a New Orleans hospital following the attack and was kept on life support till his family could arrive according to Louisiana TV station KLFY.

Bech was a Louisiana native who played high school football at St. Thomas More Catholic before playing college football at Princeton and earning multiple All-Ivy League teams as a return specialist.

Bech graduated from Princeton with a finance degree in 2021 and became a trader at Seaport Global in New York.

The younger Bech had previously posted in honor of his brother’s memory saying how much he loved and inspired him.

“Love you always brother,” Jack Bech said on his social media. “You inspired me every day now you get to be with me in every moment. I got this family T, don’t worry. This is for us.”
