TCU’s All-Big 12 running back declares for the 2024 NFL Draft
TCU running back Emani Bailey has announced on X, formerly Twitter, his intention to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
Bailey posted a message on X thanking his family, friends, teammates and coaches for support during his collegiate career but said it was time for him to take the next step in his career.
“For my family thanks for helping my dreams become reality,” said Bailey, “ To my coaches, advisors and all other staff, thank you for making me feel home the past couple of years...after thoughtful consideration and prayer, I have decided it is time to start the next chapter of my journey.”
Bailey is a Texas native who attended Billy Ryan High School before spending the first two years of his collegiate career with the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in the Sun Belt Conference. Bailey transferred to TCU for the 2022 college football season.
Bailey played a minor role on the 2022 TCU team that lost to Georgia in the CFP National Championship game.
Bailey played a much larger role for the 2023 Horned Frogs (5-7) this season, emerging as one of the team’s best offensive players with 1,209 yards and eight touchdowns.
Bailey was selected as an All-Big 12 honorable mention at the running back position. Bailey’s brother Jordyn is currently a wide receiver at TCU.
