TCU football adds three-star defensive end from Tyler to 2024 recruiting class
TCU has added another recruit to its 2024 recruiting class.
Defensive lineman Travis Jackson announced his commitment to the Horned Frogs on Friday morning on his Twitter page.
Jackson is a three-star recruit from Tyler that is ranked the No. 31 edge rusher in the country and the No. 425 prospect overall by 247Sports composite rankings. Rivals has Jackson rated as a four-star.
The Tyler Legacy standout is listed at 6-foot-3.5 and 230 pounds. Jackson held offers from Alabama, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Kansas State among others.
Jackson was on campus for TCU’s spring game, where he received an offer from Sonny Dykes. Just a week later, Jackson becomes Dykes’ third 2024 commitment joining Aledo quarterback Hauss Hejny and The Woodlands three-star tackle Ryan Hughes.
