Former TCU QB Max Duggan sits courtside in tux after accepting the Davey O’Brien Award

Former TCU quarterback Max Duggan was fashionably late on Monday when he came to watch the TCU men’s basketball square off against the Kansas Jayhawks.

Duggan had a good reason for his tardiness, he was accepting the 2022 Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award.

Duggan is the first TCU player to win the award named for legendary Horned Frogs quarterback Davey O’Brien.

After winning the award, Duggan’s next stop was Schollmaier Arena to see if the Horned Frogs could pull off the upset. TCU couldn’t oblige Duggan losing to Kansas 63-58.

However, social media was ecstatic at Duggan’s late arrival.
