TCU football spring practice dates announced
TCU will return to the football field in less than a month.
The Horned Frogs will open spring practice on March 20 with the Spring Game slated for April 14. Spring practice will include up to 15 practices with up to 12 involving live contact.
This spring will be pivotal for head coach Sonny Dykes, who led TCU to a national championship game appearance in year one, but many of the stars from that team like Max Duggan, Quentin Johnston and Kendre Miller are off to the NFL.
With a number of early enrollees and marquee transfers, the spring will be crucial for development and sorting out the depth chart for the summer.
The most intriguing positions to watch will be the defensive line, wide receiver running back and the other cornerback spot opposite returning All-Big 12 selection Josh Newton.
It is still to be determined if the practices will be open to the general public.
