The 2023 NFL Draft combine will have plenty of TCU representation.

Nine players from the national runner-ups received an invite to Indianapolis for the combine, which will be held from Feb. 28 to March 6.

It’s another major milestone for Sonny Dykes and TCU program after five players were invited to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, the top postseason collegiate all-star game.

Here’s the complete list of the Horned Frogs that will be in Indy.

Offensive lineman Alan Ali

Offensive lineman Steve Avila

Wide receiver Derius Davis

Quarterback Max Duggan

Cornerback Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson

Defensive lineman Dylan Horton

Wide receiver Quentin Johnston

Running back Kendre Miller

Linebacker Dee Winters

Who has the most to gain from the combine? Horton and Davis are two that immediately jump to mind. Horton could intrigue teams with his size and testing numbers while Davis could be the faster player at the combine. If he’s locked in and shows good hands it stands to reason he could move up higher on draft boards as a slot and return specialist.

The most to lose might be Duggan. If he runs the 40-yard dash Duggan might be the fastest quarterback at the combine, but scouts will pay more attention to how he looks with his accuracy and ball placement. We know Duggan is a gamer who plays his best when the lights are brightest and he’s getting hit a few times.

This isn’t that type of setting and he won’t be able to show off his gritty and toughness. But if his accuracy is on point then Duggan could also rise up.

Johnston is the lone TCU player projected to be a first round pick and he doesn’t need to do much in Indy, but impressive testing numbers and avoiding drops could cement his spot as the top receiver in the draft.
