The wait begins for TCU’s College Football Playoffs semifinal battle with No. 2 Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Eve.
The Horned Frogs were selected as the No. 3 seed by the CFP committee Sunday morning, easing any anxiety that was building up around Fort Worth after the overtime loss to Kansas State on Saturday.
The Wolverines will clearly be the best team TCU has faced all season, but the goal of taking down Michigan is far from impossible.
With just under four weeks from the semifinal, coach Sonny Dykes and the rest of the staff are no doubt already dialing in on Michigan and cooking up a gameplan that will give them a chance to make it to the final.
