TCU kickoff time set for rivalry game at SMU
The kickoff time for TCU’s rivalry matchup at SMU has been set.
The Horned Frogs and Mustangs will kickoff at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
It’ll be TCU head coach Sonny Dykes’ first game back at SMU, where he coached for four years and helped rebuild the program.
Dykes was 30-18 as Mustangs coach and was 25-10 over the final three seasons. His success there is what made him an ideal candidate for TCU’s opening.
Both teams are currently 2-0 with the Horned Frogs having a bye week and the Mustangs traveling to face Maryland this Saturday.
SMU has won the last two games against the Horned Frogs thanks to Dykes. Now he’ll look to get TCU back on the right side of the rivalry.
