TCU quarterback Chandler Morris leaves Colorado game with left knee injury
Just when he was starting to find a rhythm, TCU quarterback Chandler Morris had to exit the Colorado game with an apparent knee injury.
On the second drive of the second half, Morris was leading the offense down field when he kept the ball on a read option and went down for a loss of three yards.
Morris appeared to bang up his left knee while being tackled. He stayed in the game and completed a pass to Jordan Hudson to set up a field goal to put the Horned Frogs ahead 17-6 late in the third quarter.
He went to the sideline and was being looked at with a towel over his head. Morris stayed on the sideline the next offensive possession as Max Duggan entered the game.
Morris was 13-of-20 for 111 yards with completions to nine different receivers. Morris was just 7-of-13 in the first half for 53 yards as the offense was held scoreless by Colorado. Morris began to settle down as the running game starting to find more production.
