The TCU baseball game against UT San Antonio on Wednesday night is being postponed due to freezing rain and cold weather in the forecast, the school said on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth predicts a 50% chance of rain mixed with freezing rain Wednesday, with temperatures dipping into the upper 20s by late afternoon.

A makeup date hasn’t been announced for the nonconference game at Lupton Stadium. TCU is playing its home opener against Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday at Lupton.

The Frogs went 2-1 in their season-opening series at the MLB4 Tournament in Arizona last weekend.
