Another TCU sporting event has been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic

Another TCU sporting event has been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The TCU women’s soccer team will not be traveling to Kansas State this week for a scheduled game on Friday, the Big 12 announced in postponing the game citing its coronavirus protocols.

This is the second game Kansas State has been involved with that’s been canceled. The Wildcats weren’t able to play Texas Tech on Sept. 11.

This is the first game TCU soccer has been involved with that’s been postponed. The Horned Frogs opened the season at Baylor on Sept. 11, tying 0-0 in Waco, and then defeated Texas 3-0 last Friday in Fort Worth.

With the K-State game on hold, TCU’s next game is scheduled for Oct. 2 against Iowa State. That game is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Fort Worth.

TCU had to postpone its scheduled football opener against SMU on Sept. 11 when the Horned Frogs had an outbreak on the team.
