Here’s the latest on TCU’s Nembhard, Farabello as Frogs take on No. 1 Kansas tonight

TCU basketball is getting a couple reinforcements for tonight’s game at No. 2 Kansas.

Sophomore guard RJ Nembhard (groin) and freshman guard Francisco Farabello (concussion) are expected to play, coach Jamie Dixon told the Star-Telegram.

Both took part in the Horned Frogs’ shootaround session earlier today.

Nembhard (groin) and Farabello (concussion) have missed the previous two games against Iowa State and Baylor. Senior guard Edric Dennis has seen extended minutes at point guard with those two sidelined.

Nembhard is TCU’s second-leading scorer, averaging 12.2 points. He emerged as the top point guard option in recent weeks, too.

Farabello has been a valuable player off the bench, averaging 4.1 points in 21.2 minutes.

TCU will be looking for the program’s first win at Kansas’ Allen Fieldhouse tonight. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on “Big 12 Now,” the league’s streaming service on ESPN+.
