Aledo’s Colt Ellison to start TCU’s regular-season finale

The TCU football team is facing a must-win situation to become bowl eligible in today’s regular-season finale against West Virginia.

The Horned Frogs (5-6, 3-5 Big 12) faced a similar situation last season, defeating Oklahoma State. Here’s a few pregame notes —

Freshman defensive end Colt Ellison is expected to make his third career start. The Aledo product has seven tackles this season

Senior defensive end Shameik Blackshear is healthy and active for today’s game.

Junior Austin Myers is expected to start at right guard. It will be Myers’ fourth start this season.
