Jordan Moore scored a season-high 25 points to lead red-hot TCU past Iowa State 75-52 for its seventh consecutive victory Tuesday night in a Big 12 women’s basketball game in Ames, Iowa.

TCU (16-5, 7-3 Big 12) has won seven consecutive conference games for the first time since 2008.

Moore made 8-of-14 shots and was 9-of-9 from the free-throw line. Amber Ramirez added 12 points, and Toree Thompson scored eight after missing the past two games with an injury.

TCU outrebounded Iowa State (9-13, 3-8) 41-24 and held the Cyclones to 36 percent shooting.

The Horned Frogs went on a 14-0 run spanning parts of the second and third quarters to extend a 36-29 lead to 50-29. Moore scored the first seven points of the second half after TCU led 43-29 at halftime.

TCU tries to extend its winning streak Saturday in Austin when it takes on No. 8 Texas at noon. The Frogs upset then-No. 7 Texas at home on Jan. 10.
