Horned Frogs sign four-star RB that flipped from Mississippi State
Four-star running back Fabian Franklin joined the TCU Horned Frogs on Wednesday as the 17th and final player on the school's commitment list expected to sign a letter of intent during the first day of an early signing period.
Franklin is a former Mississippi State commit. He opted out of his pledge with the Bulldogs following head coach Dan Mullen's departure to Florida.
Franklin is 5-foot-11, 205 pounds, about the size of the Horned Frogs' leading rusher, Darius Anderson. 247Sports lists Franklin as the second-best player in Mississippi and the 14th-rated running back nationally.
He is the third-ranked player in the TCU class, behind four-star quarterback Justin Rogers, who is expected to sign Friday, and four-star receiver Tevailance Hunt, who also signed Wednesday.
